Electrical Site Manager- North Scotland 

To £65,000 DOE + Package 

Our client, a leading Engineering Contractor operating across Europe, committed to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions, is urgently looking for an experienced and highly skilled Electrical Site Manager. As Electrical Site Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all electrical installation activities on a major construction site including coordinating electrical works, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards, and managing the site workforce to meet project timelines and budgets. 

Key Responsibilities & Requirements: 

• Lead day-to-day electrical activities on-site, ensuring that work is completed in line with project drawings, specifications, and schedules.  

• Assist the Project Manager in developing work schedules, electrical installation plans, and material procurement strategies to ensure smooth workflow and timely project delivery. 

• Implement and enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations on-site ensuring that all work is performed in a safe manner and that risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are followed. 

• Monitor the quality of all electrical installations, including wiring, lighting, power systems, and other electrical components, ensuring that they meet project specifications, industry standards, and building codes. 

• Address and resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise during electrical installation, working closely with design engineers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project development. 

• Provide regular updates and reports to the Project Manager and key stakeholders on the status of electrical works, including any potential delays, risks, or changes. 

• Oversee the performance of electrical subcontractors, ensuring that they adhere to project timelines and quality standards including managing relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of electrical materials and equipment. 

• Prepare accurate site records, including daily site logs to ensure that all electrical works are documented in compliance with industry standards and client requirements. 

• Oversee the testing and commissioning of electrical systems to verify that installations are fully operational and meet project specifications. 

• 5+ years Electrical Site Management experience with a strong background in managing large Electrical Design and Build projects worth more than €5 million. 

• Relevant certifications & membership such as CSCS card, SMSTS, NEBOSH, & IOSH are desirable. 

• Comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, installations, and construction processes. 

• In-depth knowledge of national electrical codes, health and safety regulations, and industry standards. 

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with site teams, project managers, and clients. 

• Proactive in identifying and resolving electrical issues, with strong decision-making skills to ensure the smooth development of electrical works.
